Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. Her most well-known role is the anchor for the CNN morning show At This Hour. Bolduan was previously co-anchoring CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan has contributed to CNN's coverage of the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. Bolduan also worked as an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan is an integral part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on legislative cycles and congress events including negotiations to raise the limit on federal loans as well as the Super Committee's deliberations. Bolduan has worked as an associate reporter on general assignments. She has covered reports as the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision in the case of Obamacare. Also, she covered the introduction of stimulus plans in 2009. In 2007, she joined CNN as a correspondent national for CNN Newsource.
