Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Initiated by her observation of shadows reflected in the earth, the artist spent many months experimenting with a method to convey objects in two dimensions on canvas. The subject becomes a replica of its own, while the canvas is carrying the painterly interpretation of the object, particularly in the case of a living thing or food item, such as fruit or people. Alexa's style of painting is ephemeral and only the photographs of her work survive. As the photographic and painting methods are closely coordinated, the end result is the trompe-l'oeil effect that creates the illusion of 3D can only be seen at specific places, for example the area around the eyes and the hair. Meade sometimes integrates her paintings into the 3-dimensional world that surrounds the figures. They can interact in the world she has created for herself. This eliminates the distinctions between painting, photography and installation.
