Andrea Anders
Anders was raised within DeForest in Wisconsin but is currently residing in Los Angeles. She graduated from DeForest Area High School in DeForest, Wisconsin in 1993 as well as an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. The year 2001 was the time she graduated with the title of Master of Fine Arts from Rutgers University. Anders, her Joey co star Matt LeBlanc and their relationship was in place from 2006 to 2015. The two first met during the filming of the show, which has since been cancelled. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com) is her older brother. Anders began her career in theatre in the year 2001. Anders was the understudy of Mary Louise Parker for the Broadway production Proof. Anders also appeared as Elaine Robinson later in The Graduate. On the Jump was her first appearance at The Arena Stage. New Doors took place at the Guthrie Theater. There were two New York Stage & Film productions, namely Cold/Tender & New World Rhapsody were also produced by New York Stage & Film. Anders made her debut in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse show. Fat Pig ended on 1 July 2007. One of Anders her first appearances on TV was the commercials for Dannon which ran through the 90s, and again around 2006. Anders' most famous roles include Nicole Allen, a former wife of a footballer as in The Class and Joey as Alex Garrett (a lawyer). Anders was on all of the episodes of both series, but they were cancelled. Anders has also been seen in guest roles in One Life to Live and Law & Order. She appeared as a character in The Guiding Light. Anders was featured in five episodes of HBO's drama show Oz in 2003, playing Donna Degenhart. In 2004 she was a character in Heather as Heather in The Stepford Wives. And in 2008, Brandy made a small appearance as Brandy in Sex Drive. Anders also appeared as Brandy in the film Sex Drive. Anders has appeared in two TV pilots which were unsuccessful. Spellbound was one, and News To Me another. Recently, Anders was cast in Better Off Ted, a single-camera workplace comedy composed by Victor Fresco for ABC.
